1. Teaching methods of the teacher that you observed

The teacher using communicative language teaching strategies. In the beginning of the class, the teacher will ask the students about the last topic being discussed. After that the teacher will give warm-up activities to lead the students to their current topic. It mostly student-based learning (meaning: it focuses on the students). The teacher will explain the material and alongside with that, she will also ask question to the students. For example: The topic is Word Formation Processes. The secretary has job to note every one that participating in the classroom such as giving example for 10 points. It basically based on the difficulty of the question. The difficult the question, the higher the points.

Not just that, the students who disturbed the learning process like making noises, not paying attention to the teacher or the presentation will have reduction of points. It will be recorded on the notebooks too. This is very effective because it increased the students’ competition in the class. They will compete to have the highest points.
